The Untold Truth About COVID-19 [Must Know]

Just like a nightmare so has the novel COVID-19 (Corona virus) induced pandemic befallen mankind at the time when no one expected. Many have claimed that COVID-19 was born in December of 2019 precisely in Wuhan, China, others still argue that it has been existing long before the index case was reported. Be it as it may, we all have to come to terms that the pandemic has befallen mankind regardless of when it all started.

Many call it Corona Virus but I call it 'The Record Breaker'?. Yes you got me right, The Record Breaker! Never before has the whole world faced such economic recession as it is now in a time where the world is in a state of absolute peace. Here are some facts and trustworthy predictions to consider:
  •  The United States of America is currently facing its worst economic backlash since the great depression of 1929 to 1933 (4 years of economic disaster). In the past few months more than 36 million Americans have filed for unemployment (The worst in U.S history). Now what? The U.S is officially in recession all thanks to 'The Record Breaker'
  • Oil price has drastically dropped; the lowest in the world's history
  • Analyst predict that inflation rate will go very high in few months and the price of commodities will become unbearable.
  • Global GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth was estimated to be only 2.5% in 2020.
  • More than 20% of the world's population will lose their jobs as many businesses will go out of business. Even after the pandemic, buoyant business will find it difficult to thrive because demand for good and services will drop drastically.
  • Many potential students will be forced to stop schooling some because of the fear of being infected, some because their sponsors or parents will lose financial stability and yet others because they don't see hope of getting a job after completing their studies.
The streets are empty, cinemas are shut, banks are closed, schools have forcefully gone on vacation, people are wailing and are afraid of contracting the virus. With more than 10 Million recorded cases worldwide, the numbers still keep increasing by the minute and no one knows who is the next in line to be confirmed COVID-19 positive.

Right from the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, the World Health Organisations have issued out guidelines which should be followed to prevent the spread of this virus - wash your hands regularly with soap and water, avoid physical contact, practice social distancing, avoid crowded spaces, stay at home if you feel sick even with a slight fever or cough, put on Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and so on...

The proposed guidelines have and is still being faithfully followed by all the countries of the world yet, the number of cases are on the increase with the total number of cases reaching 10.7 Million (approximately 60,000 cases per day) in the last 7 months. I am then forced to ask, what are we not doing right, does it then mean that the proposed precautions by the W.H.O are not good enough? Well, to answer that I'll say 'Yes".

👭👭THE UNTOLD TRUTH...👬👬

COVID-19 has been dwelling in our planet for quite some time now and it is evident that man's effort to curtail the virus is not yielding positive results. Who could have imagined that the President of the world's most powerful nation, Donald Trump (the president of U.S) would make a statement advising the whole world to drink bleach in a bid to kill the virus? This goes to show how frustrated and confused the world leaders are. The whole world have been humbled by a very small microbe that has bastardized human intelligence and threatened the fate of the generations yet unborn and it is high time the world realized that another means by which COVID-19 is rapidly spreading is through the use and sharing of public toilets and bathrooms. Yes, you got me right, people do all sorts in public toilets that can trigger a rise in the spread of this virus, if you don't think so, think deeper!

4 Simple, Fast and Easy Steps To Generate A Facebook Key Hash For Android App Integration On Windows

How to generate a key hash for android app integration
A Facebook key hash is more like a verification code required when creating a Facebook android application. The key hash helps the system to determine your development environment (The model and Operating system).

I wanted to create an App for my blog, and suddenly, I was asked to give my Facebook android app's ID and Secret. I was furious because I knew nothing about a facebook android app's ID or secret. I searched and took many tutorials to be able to start creating my Facebook Android App.

Quite interesting isn't it? Knowing that your app will be created in at least 10 minutes. I took all the Guidelines until I got to the Key Hash section. Guess what? I became stuck, I didn't know what to do.

So, I searched and read bunches of assumed tested and trusted tutorials (Bunch of scrap), But it was a total waste of time. Because, none of those sites I visited gave an accurate step-by-step tutorial to generate a Facebook android app key hash. Please be patient, read this article from the beginning to the end to get every single detailed required information.

But wait, before creating the application, you should be able to identify the main reason why you need the application. Many integrates it into their personal apps while others use it to gain more popularity on Facebook.

Getting Started In Creating Your Facebook Android App

Maybe you want to create a Facebook app and don't know how to go about it, so, read this little piece of information on how you can start creating your Facebook Android App.

Login To Your Facebook Developers Account.

Facebook developers

To start creating your app you have to login to your Facebook developers account. If, you have a Facebook account then you can authenticate it to your developers account. But if you don't have one then you can create one from the facebook link above.

Once you have successfully logged in to your facebook account, You will be redirected to the Developers Dashboard and there you can start creating your app.

If you want to start creating a new Facebook Android App or edit existing ones, Read on...

On your facebook developers dashboard account, Navigate to the menu and click on the 'My Apps' drop-down button. There you can choose whether to create a new app. Or if you want to edit an existing app, Click on the 'My Apps' button and click on the existing app to start editing.

When you click on the 'Add New App' option, a pop-up will display asking you to choose the platform which you wish to create an app for. Choose android which is represented by a white robot in a green background.

After doing this then, you can now proceed and start creating your app.

After you have chosen Android as your preferred option, Then something like the picture above here should be familiar to you. Complete all the necessary steps for creating your app. A fixed menu on top of the screen will be showing you your progress towards every section. (Please open images in a new tab to zoom).

But once you get to the Key Hashes' section then, you will have to figure out how to generate your key hash (If, you don't already have one or don't know how to get one).

Congratulations! If, you've made it to the Key Hashes' section. Get ready to take the below tutorials or steps seriously to find out how to generate your key hash. Though Facebook has a tutorial to generate the hash key, But many says it's not just working for them. I have managed to figure out this trick that will give what you are looking for faster than expected.

Looking forward for this?

Steps To Take In Generating Your Facebook Key Hash.

So, you don't know anything about generating a Facebook key hash right? Sit back and relax let me show you how you can do that in less than 10 minutes. So let me show you how.

1. Download OpenSSL For Windows

OpenSSL logo on Google Code

To start generating your Facebook key hash you must first of all download OpenSSL for windows (If you don't have one already). To download the OpenSSL file follow these steps:

    • Download 'Openssl-0.9.8k_WIN32.zip' (Recommended for generating a key hash) directly from here without visiting the Google Code page.
    • After your download has been completed, Click on it to open in the downloads folder. Just above the zip file click on 'Extract All Files', wait until windows have successfully extracted all files.
    • Click the right button and then rename your the folder from openssl-0.9.8k-WIN32.zip to OpenSSL.
    • After renaming your file to OpenSSL then, Move it to Local Disk (C:). After moving your file to Local Disk (C:), Click on this link to see how your OpenSSL will look life after moving it to Local Disk (C:) - The way your folder will look on Disk (C:) depends on your view. If you have done this then, let's move to the second step.
2. Run A Command On Windows.

windows command prompt

After successfully renaming and moving your file to Local Disk (C:), then the next thing to do is to run a command on windows by holding Windows start button + R or click on the start menu search for command, and click on command prompt. A command prompt will pop-up asking you to type the name of program, folder, document, or Internet resource.

Just as seen in the picture above, type in cmd on the command and hit ENTER on your keyboard. Another command prompt will pop-up with your Computer's manufacturer name. It will look like this:

3. Locate Your Java Folder.

Java Folder

Locate your Java folder. To do this follow this step:

'Go to Windows Explorer >> Local Disk (C:) >> Program Files >> Java >> Java Sub-folder >> Bin.

When you get to Bin click on the folder indicator just as seen in this picture. Right Click the code and copy it.

For example this is how my code looks like. Please don't copy my code, Use yours to make it easier for the system to identify your environment.

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin

So, get your own code and paste it at the command prompt after cd hit ENTER after pasting your code. Here is how my code looks like, and yours should look the same.

Type your java code

Please click on this image to zoom if you can't view it properly.

4. Copy And Customize This Code

Awesome! We've got to the very last step in generating the Facebook key hash. Please note that if you don't pay proper attention to this step then I am sorry you will not achieve your aim.

So let's get started: Copy and paste this code in your Wordpad, Notepad, Microsoft Excel or any other application your can use to edit this code.

keytool -exportcert -alias androiddebugkey -keystore "C:\Users\HASEE\.android\debug.keystore" | "C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl" sha1 -binary | "C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl" base64

So, there you go but notice this code: C:\Users\HASEE\.android It has to be changed to your own code. How can this be done? Follow the step below.

Go to Windows Explorer >> Libraries >> Documents >> .android.

The step above is where most .android folder can be found. But if yours doesn't appear here then try searching for .android or if you know where it is then you can look for it. Here is how to get the .android code:

So, there you go, Copy the code and paste it somewhere to be used shortly. After copying your code change it from

THIS

keytool -exportcert -alias androiddebugkey -keystore "C:\Users\HASEE\.android\debug.keystore" | "C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl" sha1 -binary | "C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl" base64

TO THIS:

keytool -exportcert -alias androiddebugkey -keystore "Paste the code from .android\debug.keystore" | "C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl" sha1 -binary | "C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl" base64

After pasting and editing your code then you can now copy the whole code. Go back to the Command Prompt and paste your edited code.

Mine Looks like this.

After editing and pasting your code, hit ENTER on your keyboard and your 28 character code will show up. This is how my 28 character key hash looks like.

But if you are prompted to enter a password, type: Android and then hit ENTER. Your key hash will show up immediately.

After this copy the code and paste it on the Key Hashes' section on Facebook Developers, Click next to continue. Viola! Your key hash has been generated.

If you are a little bit confused then, here is a video which clearly shows you how to generate the key hash. Though the video is silent, Pay proper attention to it.

Or you can choose to download the video here, for those using incompatible mobile devices to stream YouTube videos.

Click here to start download automatically (2.3 MB).

Hope you did enjoy this post stay tuned for more tricks.

Google Announces Encrypted Connection To Blogspot Sites For Free

Google has moved a step further in making their Blogger Blogspot users happy. I've read a lot of post from top authority sites claiming that you can secure your Blogspot site's encryption for free before now, Anyway, that is a big Lie!

Earlier in April 2016, Google sent me a notification about the free encryption of Blogspot sites over HTTPS.

Finally, Google has decided to make the HTTPS feature free for all Blogspot domains, And guess what? It is absolutely free.

But if at all you are doubting me or think that I am just trying to tease my blog readers, Okay then, I have a prove, below is the screen shot from the notification.

This is what the notification stated: "All visitors will be able to view your Blogspot domains over an encrypted connection by visiting https://.blogspot.com. Existing links and bookmarks to your blogs will continue to work. As part of this change, the HTTPS Availability setting will disappear, and your blogs will always have an HTTPS version".

I thought writing it out will be more understandable for those viewing this post on small mobile devices. Well, there you go!, Hey! don't go yet, I still have one more prove to this if you still don't agree with me.

This was how my blog was been viewed by visitors before Google made it free and accessible or before I enabled the HTTPS feature on my blog. Anyway, that was then but now, my blog loads the HTTPS version quicker than before.
NOTE: The HTTPS version of your blog will not be available unless if you have enabled it on your blog.

So this is how my blog will be viewed from today (6th of April 2016) till when Google decides to shut down the offer. The green Padlock just beside my blog's domain represents HTTPS. So, what are you waiting for? Take advantage of this offer before anything unexpected happens.

How to turn on the HTTPS version on your blog

Turning on the HTTPS version on your blog is quick, easy and only takes a minute. Because this service has just been introduced, you will have to enable the HTTPS version on your blog yourself, but after some time all Blogspot domains will have the HTTPS connection automatically.

Login to your Blogger Dashboard >> Move on to settings - Basic settings >> Navigate to the HTTPS availability on your Basic settings, Click on it and select yes.

After selecting yes, it reloads and the HTTPS availability option becomes Yes, If you want to view the changes yourself, then view your blog to see it encrypted.

Hope it worked for you, thanks for reading bye!

Comparison: Blogger or Wordpress Which Is The Best?

Blogging is becoming one of day-to-day activity online, while others take it as a full-time business. A lot of new bloggers who wants to start blogging are often confused, about what? About which of the two most popular free blogging hosting service (Blogger and Wordpress) should they use.

Now let's assume that 5 million bloggers use Blogger and 4.5 million bloggers use Wordpress to run their personal blogs or magazines, ordinarily new bloggers will want to use Blogger knowing that it is the most popular free blogging hosting service. Well, as regards to that, I will not make any comments but have you decide on that.

I decided to use Blogger because it is hosted by the most powerful and secure internet company in the world: Google. And because I don't have to create another account considering the fact that I have a Google account.

Both Blogger and Wordpress are just awesome, but they both can't offer the same satisfaction to their users. Here are some comparison between Blogger and Wordpress.

1. Dashboards
Both Blogger and Wordpress uses dashboards as their homepage. I've taken my time to differentiate some few reasons that make them different. Let's check them out.

Blogger Dashboard

Blogger dashboard is just awesome, let's check it out!

If you are a Blogger user then the image should be familiar to you. Blogger dashboards have a very simple and clean design.

One thing I so much love about Blogger dashboard is that it provides a very clear navigation in a drop-down menu which users can easily use to go through the pages of your blog. It also gives users the opportunity to create an unlimited amount of blogs from its dashboard.

Users can also follow other top bloggers who have RSS feed enabled from the dashboard and also view their latest posts.

Wordpress Dashboard

Wordpress dashboard is also awesome but takes a little longer to load.

Unlike Blogger, Wordpress choose to simply split out all the important links in a fixed navigation sidebar so that their users can easily go through their blog instantly. It also gives you an overview of your blog.

Wordpress equally lets you view the posts of your favorites blogs and also follow them. Wordpress also allows you to write a draft post instantly from the dashboard.

Winner: Wordpress.

2. Alexa Rank

I consider it appropriate to also differentiate both Blogger and Wordpress' rank. Now let's see the most visited free blogging hosting service.

Blogger's Alexa Rank

Now let's see how popular Blogger is.

According to Alexa's 2016 rank. Blogger.com was ranked the 69th most visited site in the world. While it was dominating the 22nd spot in India which clearly shows that most Blogger users are from India.

Though Google was unable to make Blogger as popular as YouTube and other free services which Google offers. According to Alexa as well, Blogger's daily visitors have moved from 3% daily visitors to 7%. Which means in fewer years to come, Blogger would exit it's 69th position to another better position.

Wordpress Alexa Rank

Wordpress happens to be more popular than Blogger, let's see it's rank.

Wordpress was ranked as the 41st most visited site in the world in 2016 and the 39th in the United States. Though it seems as though Wordpress was demoted by 6th position from its previous rank maybe because it's beginning to lose its visitors.

Wordpress bypassed Blogger in rank by far.

3. Photo Storage Space

Photo storage space is a very important factor for most bloggers who blog mostly about images and videos. Now let's look at them.

Blogger Photo Storage Space

Blogger gives their users a huge amount of storage space.

This is another reason why I prefer Blogger to Wordpress. Blogger gives their users 15GB storage space for photos. All images uploaded on Blogger blogs are also uploaded automatically to Picasa Web Albums (Google free photo hosting service).

Blogger also offers a lot of other ways in which users can upload images on their blogs including URL.

Wordpress Photo Storage Space

Let's see how Wordpress photo storage space works.

What a pathetic view it is indeed! Wordpress offers their users a lower storage space of 3,072 MB which is equivalent to 3GB. Unlike Blogger, Wordpress offers their users a very low storage space for both photos and music.

Wordpress can actually do their users a favor by pushing up the storage space from 3,072 MB to a larger storage space of 5,120 MB (5GB).

4. Photo Uploading Options.

Bloggers want to have more convenient ways in which they can use to upload images on their blogs/websites. Let's check them out.

Blogger Photo Uploading Options

Blogger has quite a lot of photo uploading options. Let's see them.

This is yet another reason why I like Blogger, It has about 5 ways in which bloggers can use to upload images on their blog. Let's see them and how they work.
  • From this blog: This option allows you to use previously uploaded images on your blog with a single click on your current post.
  • From Picasa Web Albums: Picasa web albums allows you to upload images uploaded in your Picasa web albums on your blog.
  • From your Phone: You have to connect your phone using a USB cable, this option automatically sorts out all the images on your phone and then you can easily upload them without having to transfer them on your system.
  • From Your Webcam: This option allows you to capture images using your Camera and uploading to your blog post instantly.
  • From A URL: You can easily upload images from a URL or to make it more understandable, from a link.
Wordpress Photo Uploading Options

Let's check out Wordpress' uploading options.

Wordpress only offers two ways for their users to upload images on their blogs. Unlike blogger which gives users five ways to upload images on their blogs.

Wordpress can do something in improving their user experience by adding more image uploading options.

 5. Developers Alexa Rank

I just thought of adding this as well. Let's check them out.

Blogger Developers Rank

Blogger's developers are Google.

Waw! Blogger's owners, Google is the world's most visited site in the world. It is also the most powerful internet company in the world with about 50 different apps/services.

Google also succeeded in making Blogger a very useful service in the world.

Wordpress Developers Rank

Let's check out Wordpress developers rank.

Wordpress.org was ranked 251st globally and 80th in India. But unfortunately, Wordpress was demoted by 44 positions in 2016. Wordpress really did lose it by far as in terms of Google.com which was ranked 1st Globally and 1st in the United States of America.

Wordpress.org is the place where Wordpress users go to ask questions and get answers to, find beautiful free Wordpress themes and more. How I wish Google can create something like this for Blogger users.

Winner: Blogger

6. Access to Themes/Templates

This section focuses on how both Wordpress and Blogger users access themes/templates.

Blogger Themes/Templates

Let's see how Blogger users have access to themes/templates.

Blogger offers their users a wide range of awesome but simple themes/templates. But the most important part of it is that of all these templates are free.

Blogger templates ranges from Simple, Dynamic Views, Picture Windows, Awesome Inc, Watermark, Ethereal, Travel and Classic templates. Each having the same layout but different customized designs and views.

Wordpress Themes/Templates

Wordpress offers a lot of awesome professional templates for free.

Though Wordpress offers a wide range of professional customized templates, though Wordpress templates are far more beautiful than that of Blogger. Wordpress templates are well customized and serve for different purposes.

Though not all Wordpress templates are free, some of the best Wordpress templates costs few dollars while some costs a few hundreds more.

Many Blogger templates are adapted from Wordpress and then converted to XML files which are appropriate for Blogger.

7. Photo Editing Options

Photo editing options are most important for search engine optimization (SEO).

Blogger Photo Editing Options

Let's check out Blogger photo editing options.

After uploading your images on your blog there are many things your can do such as adding an ALT text on your photo for SEO purposes.

Blogger supports the following photo editing options: resizing options like Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, Original Size, including some alignment such as Move Left, Center or Right, and some interesting options such as Add Caption and Properties.

Wordpress Photo Editing Options

Wordpress also have a lot of other photo editing options.

Wordpress also offers the same photo uploading options except for the option of resizing images from Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and Original which Wordpress doesn't offer.

Wordpress equally support some editing options such as Align Left, Align Center, Align Right and No Alignment, resizing options: Increase Size and Decrease Size and Caption.

Winner: Blogger

8. AdSense Sign up

Both Wordpress and Blogger users can both apply for AdSense from their blogs.

Blogger AdSense Sign up

Let's the Blogger AdSense sign up page.

This is another reason why many Blogger users easily sign up for Google AdSense easily than Wordpress or any other free blog hosting sites.

Google managed to easily integrate this feature to their sidebar. After approximately 6 months the sign-up button for AdSense on your Earnings tab should be click-able and afterward, you can apply for AdSense.

Wordpress AdSense Sign Up

Wordpress also allows you to sign up for AdSense from your blog.

Just like Blogger, Wordpress equally supports a sign up for AdSense plugin directly from the settings tab on your Wordpress blog. Wordpress and Blogger both supports the AdSense sign up from your blog. But it seems that Blogger is easier.

Winner: Draw: Blogger and Wordpress
